A 5-Year Theme for Transformative Growth
Join our church as we embark on an inspiring five-year journey of growth and transformation. With our theme, "BUILD," we aim to equip and empower Christians to make a positive impact on the world around them, based on the teachings of Jesus.
Over the course of five years, we will explore and implement five key themes:
Build You, Build Family, Build Church, Build Neighborhood, and Build World.
These themes, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, provide a roadmap for personal, relational, and societal growth.
"BUILD You" begins by focusing on building you - addressing the importance of a healthy physical, mental, spiritual, and social life
Next, we will turn our attention to BUILD Family- discussing how culture influences they way experience family, the different family experiences that we have, the traditions that we hold that may influence our relationship with each other, and the connection between ourselves, our families, and our church.
As we progress, we will shift our focus to BUILD Church - we look to the formation of the early church and the purpose they held, we talk about the role that lament plays in outreach and how the church has distanced itself from lament, and we talk discuss the difficult but important topic of toxic charity.
BUILD Neighborhood is the next step, as we seek to make a positive impact on the communities where we live. Inspired by Jesus' example of compassion and mercy, we will explore the topic of agape, how it should shape our outreach goals, and we discuss the walls that we have built that alienate the church from the neighborhood.
Finally, we will strive to BUILD World - understanding the global mission given by the 3 Angels Message in Revelation and the Great Commission by Jesus and ponder our place in the global mission field.
Through this five-year journey, we aim to train Christians who are equipped to make a tangible difference in the world they inhabit. Together, let us embrace the teachings of Jesus, renew our commitment to building beyond ourselves, and transform the world around us with love, compassion, and faith.
Building God's Kingdom. Together.
